BOOK#1: The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown.

Dan Brown is a name enough to provide mysterious and thrilling novels. He is world class renowned author of his most famous work- The DaVinci code.
The story revolves around the mysterious death of a man in Lovre Museum.
The story follows symbologist Robert Langdon as a protagonist and Sophie Neveu to become involved in the battle between Priory of Sion and Opus Dei over the possibility of Jesus Christ having been companion to Mary Magdalen.
It was my first book with which I started my reading career.

BOOK#2: A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Beckman.

In one phase of the life we all have to pass through loneliness. Ove knew that it was his time to face this music. What all Ove wanted in his old age is death.
But, fate and life had some other plans for him. They just don’t let an old man die peacefully. The book also describes how he loved his dead wife so much that he never thought of marrying again.
“People said Ove saw the world in black and white. But she was colour. All the colour he had”
The above phrase is my favorite from the book which was used to describe the relation between him and his wife.
He was a very trustworthy and dutiful son. A cat is also portrayed in the picture which turned out to be his only companion in the times of misery. He also had a bunch of annoying but loving neighbors who took care of Ove.

BOOK#3: Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

It is the ultimate finance advising book you will ever read. Enriched with the experience of Robert Kiyosaki in the financial market and business, this book becomes the best in handling money.
With its tagline stating “What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money- That Poor and Middle Class Do Not!” justifies each and every word in the process of raising kids.
It clearly changes the reader’s perspective towards the thought of “Being studious is being rich.” The Rich Dad tells about the difference between assets and liabilities. There are many important lessons mentioned in the book which indicates the little ways in which we waste money.

BOOK#4: Ram Chandra Series by Amish Tripathy.

Coming from an IIM graduate turned author, this series of Mr. Amish Tripathy will leave you stubborn towards his books.

The first thing you will notice in the series is the difference between the characters of Ram, Sita and Lakshman as depicted in television series and the ones depicted in Amish’s series. You will connect more to Amish’s one. They feel so humane in the book.
You will get to know that Ram was more of a warrior in the demeanor of a saint. He was a combination of being fierce and calm at the same time.
The best book of the series is the ‘Raavan’ one. You will feel more attached to the storyline and will understand the evilness of his character. The way he became rich enough to make Lanka out of Gold!

BOOK#5: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.

The Book Thief is an ultimatum to reach your emotional stability. The book is about a little German girl in the Hitler’s time of power.
It will lead you to such a rollercoaster ride of emotions that you will feel to cry your heart out. Markus Zusak has done a lot of research in writing this masterpiece and making it such a success.
This book reflects about how inhumane the system of humanity can go. Sometimes it becomes so difficult to only survive in a war-stricken country.
If you’re looking forward to an emotional book and the one which will stay with you for a lifetime, then you should give ‘The Book Thief’ a read.

BOOK#6: Elon Musk by Ashlee Vance.

This biography of technical tycoon Elon Musk inspires so many your minds across the globe. Beautifully jotted down by Ashlee Vance, this masterpiece becomes mandatory for all those entrepreneurs out there.
